Longcheer Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on engineer to drive improvements in equipment uptime and throughput for SIP manufacturing.

The role focuses on maintaining records, updating SOPs, and ensuring readiness for new product launches, while implementing corrective actions to reduce defects and improve yields. • Hands-on experience with molding machines, mold tooling, automated handling systems, and peripherals.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of equipment qualification, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to support production requirements, including shift support or overtime when necessary.

Responsabilités

• Drive improvements in equipment uptime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and production throughput.
• Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records, alarm logs, and downtime reports.
• Update equipment SOPs, PM checklists, calibration records, and technical documentation.
• Ensure equipment readiness for new SIP product launches and engineering builds.
• Implement corrective actions to reduce molding defects, improve yield, and prevent recurrence.
• Support mold setup, mold changeover, equipment qualification, and process verification.
• Support molding processes for SIP products to ensure stable and repeatable production.
• Support engineering trials, new product introduction (NPI), and process transfer activities.
• Support product qualification, engineering evaluation and customer-related quality investigations.

Job description
Drive improvements in equipment uptime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and production throughput.
Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records, alarm logs, and downtime reports.
Update equipment SOPs, PM checklists, calibration records, and technical documentation.
Ensure equipment parameters and machine conditions comply with product specifications and control plans.
Ensure equipment readiness for new SIP product launches and engineering builds.
Implement corrective actions to reduce molding defects, improve yield, and prevent recurrence.
Support mold setup, mold changeover, equipment qualification, and process verification.
Support molding processes for SIP products to ensure stable and repeatable production.
Support engineering trials, new product introduction (NPI), and process transfer activities.
Support product qualification, engineering evaluation and customer-related quality investigations.

Qualification
Degree in Mechanical Engineering,Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience in semiconductor packaging, molding equipment, or electronics manufacturing is preferred.
Knowledge in packaging processes, particularly SIP (System-in-Package), is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with molding machines, mold tooling, automated handling systems, and associated peripherals is preferred.
Familiarity with PLC controls, sensors, pneumatic systems, servo motors, and machine vision systems is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of equipment qualification, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to support production requirements, including shift support or overtime when necessary.
