Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a technician to maintain and optimize test equipment used in manufacturing. The role involves setup, handler conversion, repair and routine maintenance of test hardware.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with preferred exposure to Final Test and ATE testers. You will work a 12‑hour rotating shift, participate in 5S, and contribute to a safety-focused production environment.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in semiconductor Backend (Final Test) with ATE testers/test handlers is an added advantage.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts.
• Good attendance, responsible and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setup, handler conversion, repair and maintenance for test equipment used by Test Manufacturing.
• Support Maintenance Engineers in improving hardware performance.
• Provide feedback and analyze test hardware weaknesses to identify improvements.
• Participate in 5S and ensure safety SOPs on the production floor.

• Support Maintenance Engineers in executing improvement projects to enhance handler and test hardware performance.
• Provide feedback and perform analysis on test hardware weaknesses to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in 5S activitiesand ensurecompliance with safety SOPson the production floor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in semiconductor Backend (Final Test), especially with ATE testers and test handlers, is an added advantage.
• Able to work ABC 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).
• Good attendance, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work independently and demonstrate innovation in technical tasks.
