Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation is seeking an engineer to set up, qualify, and optimize tester and handler systems for high‑quality, efficient production. You will troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and drive improvements while supporting preventive maintenance and training technicians.

The role requires a related engineering degree, solid knowledge of electro‑mechanical systems, and a proactive approach in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of semiconductor tester & handlers to ensure stable, efficient, and high-quality production operations..

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and qualify new tester & handlers for production.
• Troubleshoot tester & handler issues and implement corrective actions.

• Support preventive maintenance and equipment reliability programs.
• Drive continuous improvement projects on productivity, quality, and cost.
• Train and support technicians on tester & handler operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of electro-mechanical system, pneumatic system fundamentals.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Good to Have

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Semiconductor test & handler platforms (e.g. SPEA, ETS, JHT, Cohu, Multitest, Advantest, Hontech, Seiko Epson).
• Knowledge of machine automation, motors, robotics, and vision systems
• Problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, SPC, FMEA, and DOE.
