Job summary

Renesas is seeking a Test Equipment Technician in Penang, Malaysia, to carry out setup, handler conversion, repair, and maintenance for test equipment used by Test Manufacturing. Support Maintenance Engineers in improvement projects to enhance handler and test hardware performance, provide feedback and analysis on weaknesses, and participate in 5S and safety SOPs on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; exposure to semiconductor backend (Final Test), especially with ATE testers and test handlers, is an added advantage.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).
• Good attendance, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work independently and demonstrate innovation in technical tasks.
