Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician– Backend (Final Test) in Malaysia's Penang region. The role covers setup, maintenance, and repair of test equipment used in Test Manufacturing, with responsibilities to support process improvements and safety on the production floor.

Candidates should hold a Diploma or higher in Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome; experience with ATE testers and test handlers is a plus, and English/Bahasa

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates encouraged; experience in semiconductor Backend (Final Test) with ATE testers and test handlers is an advantage.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).
• Good attendance, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setup, handler conversion, repair, and maintenance for test equipment used by Test Manufacturing.
• Support Maintenance Engineers in executing improvement projects to enhance handler and test hardware performance.
• Provide feedback and perform analysis on test hardware weaknesses to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in 5S activities and ensure compliance with safety SOPs on the production floor.
