Job summary

Panaromic Sdn Bhd is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety professional to provide environmental control and enforcement support for the project in Negeri Sembilan. You will conduct inspections, monitor compliance with Environmental Monitoring Plan requirements and assist with EMS maintenance on site.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Health/Safety engineering or equivalent, a CISEC certificate, fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia, and at least 2 years of

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
• CISEC Certificate is required.
• At least 2 years of working experience in related field.
• Preferably experience in Earthwork and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance with Environmental Monitoring Plan and authority requirements.
• Identify pollution sources and propose mitigation plans; supervise corrective measures.
• Record daily reports on environmental issues.
• Maintain and develop EMS, and ensure EHS standards on site for personnel and contractors.
• Identify and assess foreseeable pollution risks.
• Develop and maintain compliance-related policies and procedures based on EMS requirements.
• Liaise with authority departments and coordinate with workers on site.
• Communicate with workers and conduct site coordination activities.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out necessary inspections and monitoring to check for compliances with the Environmental Monitoring Plan, established procedures and authority requirements
• Identify potential sources of pollution and propose appropriate mitigation plans and supervise corrective measures
• Record daily reports on environmental issues
• Maintain and develop EHS standards to ensure the environment, health and safety of site personnel, visitors and contractors
• Identify and assess any foreseeable risk of pollution
• Maintain and develop compliance-related policies and procedures based on EHS requirements
• Liaise with authority departments
• Communicate with workers and conduct site coordination works
• Perform ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned

About you

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent
• CISEC Certificate required
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
• Preferably experience in Earthwork and Infrastructure
• Familiar with Environmental Management System (EMS)
• Able to communicate with workers and conduct site coordination works
• Efficient and able to work independently with minimum supervision
