Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Logistics Data Assistant in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves preparing shipping documents, data entry, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate records.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or related diploma, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia skills, and familiarity with Office software. Mandarin is a plus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a diploma in Logistics, SCM, Business Admin or related field preferred.
• Entry-level position suitable for recent graduates with interest in logistics/transportation.
• Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with logistics and shipping documentation processes is a plus.
• Basic understanding of import/export procedures and customs regulations is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a significant asset.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, review, and organization of all shipping and logistics documentation with accuracy.
• Accurately enter and maintain data related to shipments, inventory, and customs declarations.
• Support the team by liaising with internal departments and external partners to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements.
• File and archive logistics documents in an organized filing system for audits.
• Communicate with team in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to clarify requirements.
• Perform quality checks on documentation to minimize errors and delays.
