Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior Account Executive to support day-to-day accounting, administrative, and customer service activities in Selangor. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates or interns building first professional experience in accounts and administration.

You will gain hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, reconciliations, and daily business operations while collaborating with the team and serving customers via WhatsApp, email, and phone.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Diploma/ Degree/ LCCI).
• Fresh graduates or internship experience encouraged.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiar with SQL, AutoCount, Xero, or similar software.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organised, responsible, and eager to learn.
• Positive, customer‑oriented attitude.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly bank, sales, and account reconciliations.
• Perform basic bookkeeping and update transactions in the accounting system.
• Organise and maintain financial documents and records.
• Assist with checking customer payments against daily sales and records.
• Support vendor invoice processing and accounts payable/receivable.
• Assist with month-end closing and other basic accounting tasks.
• Maintain digital and physical filing for accounting and admin.
• Respond to customer inquiries via WhatsApp, social media, email, and phone.
• Assist customers with appointments, rescheduling, and service inquiries.
• Record and follow up on customer feedback and service requests.
