Job summary

GL Education Group Sdn Bhd, operating as GL Academy in Plaza Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, seeks a qualified English Teacher to join our academic team and deliver engaging English lessons. You will assess progress, prepare materials, maintain records, and foster a positive learning environment across varying ages and proficiency levels.

A TESL/CELTA/TESOL or equivalent qualification plus 2 years of teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a TESL, CELTA, TESOL, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of English teaching experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, effective English language lessons and contribute to the academic development of our students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver English language lessons in line with the academy's curriculum
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Prepare lesson materials and maintain accurate teaching records
• Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
• Communicate with parents/guardians on student progress as required
• Participate in academic meetings, training, and curriculum development as needed

Requirements

• Must hold a TESL, CELTA, TESOL, or equivalent teaching qualification
• Must currently reside in Malaysia
• Minimum 2 years of English teaching experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an academic team

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM until last class of the day
• Total teaching hours not to exceed 45 hours per calendar week

Salary

• RM2,500 - RM5,800 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience
