Job summary

Soy Sauce Factory is seeking an Engineering Technician to maintain and improve production machinery at our Prai, Penang site. You will plan and execute preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, lubricate, document work orders, and rectify malfunctions to minimize production downtime.

Your responsibilities include overseeing start-up and shut-down procedures, managing spare parts inventory and consumables, keeping the factory buildings in good repair, and ensuring safe work practices.

Responsibilities

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.40pm
Sat - 8.30am - 12.40pm

JD: Maintenance Responsibilities

• To plan and execute maintenance on all production machinery so as preserve them in good working order with minimum breakdown.
• To ensure that daily / weekly / monthly maintenance are carried out and properly recorded.
• Ensure all machinery are adequately lubricated.
• Rectify and report machinery malfunction.
• Attend to any machinery breakdown, ensuring minimum disruption to production.
• To be responsible for all technical aspects of production:

a) Accuracy of fill, crowning etc.

b) Bottle cleanliness due to malfunction of bottle washer.

c) Equipment sanitation.

d) Machinery cleanliness.

• Ensure that production procedures for start up and shut down of production equipment are closely adhered to.
• To keep machinery spare parts inventory:

a) Ensuring adequate supply of spares.

b) Proper recording of usage.

c) Ensuring spare parts are arranged orderly and neatly.

• Ensure adequate supply of consumables for machinery, such as caustic soda, sodium glucomate, lubricating oil etc.
• To maintenance buildings in a state of good repair.
• To ensure that employees carry out their duties in a safe manner and report any unsafe equipment or situations.

Salary Range- RM2,150 - RM2,650 + Variable Incentive + OT

Variable Incentive- Meet target only eligible estimated RM900 (Attendance, Breakdown, Non Critical, Spare part, Filling Machine, etc)

Entitiled to OT- estimated RM300

DAYS & HRS- MON-SAT (8.30-5PM)
