Job summary

Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering and Security teams. This role ensures efficient operation of engineering services, building systems, and physical security while maintaining a safe, reliable, and compliant environment.

The role involves overseeing maintenance, security planning, contractor management, and budgets, with a focus on health and safety compliance and continuous improvement initiatives across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in engineering, facilities, or building operations.
• Experience managing physical security operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and workplace health and safety.
• Experience managing budgets, contractors, and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Engineering and Security teams.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of building systems and facilities.
• Ensure effective management of physical security, including CCTV, access control, and security operations.
• Develop and implement maintenance and security plans.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and departmental budgets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
• Lead engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support emergency preparedness and incident response.
