Job summary

Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil is seeking a dynamic Security & Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead a skilled team, and ensure guest safety and asset protection. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, perform safety inspections, and manage emergencies in alignment with Hyatt standards.

The role requires strong leadership, incident investigation skills, and a customer-focused mindset to resolve inquiries promptly and maintain exceptional service in a busy hotel

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel security, facilities, or maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Security & Maintenance department to ensure safety and asset protection.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the Security & Maintenance team while complying with Hyatt standards and policies.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, prioritizing guest needs to minimize disruptions.
• Conduct regular security patrols, safety checks, and fire prevention inspections.
• Manage emergency procedures including drills, investigations, and reporting with local authorities.
• Monitor costs, energy use, inventories, and contractor performance for efficiency and cost control.
• Handle guest and associate inquiries and security-related matters with prompt resolution.
• Deliver daily team briefings, conduct performance evaluations, and support employee development.
• Maintain accurate security and maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to support hotel operations.
