Daifuku Oceania Limited is seeking an Engineering Master Data Specialist for a fixed-term role based in Malaysia. You will maintain product and part data in our IFS ERP, support engineering document control, and enhance data synchronization across engineering systems, libraries and enterprise databases.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with intralogistics or factory automation components.
• Proficient in Excel for data lookups and validation.
• Experience handling and publishing engineering drawings and docs.
• Understanding of revision control and cross-functional workflows.

Aufgaben

• Create, maintain and update product and part master data within the IFS ERP system.
• Manage part identification, categorisation, configurable attributes, product structures, manufacturer information and costs.
• Process IFS Inventory Part ID requests and liaise with requestors to confirm accurate part details.
• Support engineering revisions, part obsolescence and lifecycle updates while helping prevent duplicate records.
• Assist with project deliverables in IFS, including accurate specification of attributes.
• Publish engineering drawings, CAD models, reports, specifications and manuals into approved libraries.
• Maintain revision control and support engineering change processes, including ECR, ECO and DCN workflows.
• Develop ERP data management processes and support automation and data synchronisation initiatives.

About the opportunity

Daifuku Oceania is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Engineering Master Data Specialist to join our Product Engineering team on a fixed-term basis, with an immediate start. You will maintain product and part data in our IFS ERP environment, support engineering document control, and help improve data synchronisation between engineering systems, libraries and enterprise databases.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex engineering information, improving data quality and partnering across Engineering, Supply Chain, Projects and Information Technology.

What you will do

• Create, maintain and update product and part master data within the IFS ERP system.
• Manage part identification, categorisation, configurable attributes, product structures, manufacturer information and costs.

What you will bring

• Familiarity with structural and mechanical components for intralogistics orfactory automation machinesor
• Electrical and Electronic components for intralogistics or factory automation machines.
• Familiarity withsoftware such as Autodesk Vault, SolidWorks PDM or Teamcenter.
• Strong Microsoft Excel capability, particularly data lookup, validation and analysis functions.
• Experience handling and publishing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Understanding of engineering document revision control and cross-functional workflows.
• A diploma in engineering, engineering technology or a related technical field.
• Strong English communication skills and a methodical, accurate approach to data.

Highly regarded

• IFS Cloud training, certification or hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of Power Query, SQL, JSON, APIs or ERP and Excel integration tools.
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, SharePoint lists and forms, or manufacturing procurement workflows.
