Job summary

Lam Research in Malaysia seeks a Manager, Engineering within Supplier Engineering & Technology (SET) to lead supplier engineering activities, translate objectives into priorities, and guide a team through complex quality, manufacturing, and qualification challenges.

You will drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders in a highly technical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field; 4–6 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated engineering experience in manufacturing, quality, supplier engineering or related technical environment.
• Ability to lead technical work through engineers and cross-functional teams; make sound technical decisions.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of Supplier Engineers within the SET scope, with accountability for results and resources.
• Translate objectives into team priorities and work plans; allocate resources to meet schedules and commitments.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers; foster ownership, openness, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership for supplier-related manufacturing, quality, reliability, and product-life-cycle challenges.
• Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and cross-functional alignment per processes.
