Job summary

MHub in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing technology organisation. You will work directly under the CTO to execute the product and technology roadmap, overseeing a team of Technical Leads and cross-functional engineers across Proptech platforms and AI-driven features.

You will drive agile practices, production stability, and capacity planning while partnering with stakeholders to translate business goals into executable plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a people management or technical leadership role.
• Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams (Full Stack, Mobile, QA).
• Strong experience with web application development using Node.js, React or similar full-stack frameworks.
• Ability to translate product vision into engineering delivery plans with on-time execution.
• Strong communication skills, bridging technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of engineering sprints, release cycles, and platform milestones across product squads.
• Partner with the CTO and Product team to translate business requirements into technical strategy and roadmaps.
• Drive engineering excellence through code quality standards, architectural governance, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee production stability, incident management, and platform reliability across the product suite.
• Directly manage and coach a team of Technical Leads, conducting reviews and development conversations.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and retention of engineering talent; define team structure and capacity.
