Job summary

MR DIY International is seeking a Technical Lead in Malaysia to own the technical implementation of products, guide engineers, and ensure delivery quality. The role reports to the Head of IT Transformation and cuts across engineering, architecture, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of engineering experience with hands-on coding.
• Strong leadership capabilities to guide multiple modules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven problem-solving and technical decision-making skills.
• Ownership mindset with bias for delivery and continuous improvement.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide structure for the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead developers and engineers across multiple modules.
• Make key technical decisions during delivery and ensure code quality.
• Translate solution designs into detailed technical tasks and design APIs.
• Perform code reviews and troubleshoot production issues.
• Plan delivery with stakeholders and Product Owner to remove blockers.
• Ensure platform adoption and alignment across IT, marketing, sales and design.
