Job summary

Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd is seeking a process improvement engineer to drive technical responsibilities across equipment, process and instrumentation. You will lead design, implementation, commissioning, and handover of projects as delegated by the Project Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, manufacturing experience (preferred, fresh graduates may apply), and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing environments within process or design departments; fresh graduates may apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to perform site work, including on-site measurements and related technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical responsibilities across equipment, process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation areas.
• Lead the design, implementation, commissioning, and handover of projects as delegated by the Project Manager.
• Define project specifications by analysing product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
• Validate product and process performance through design reviews, testing, and verification activities.
• Control project execution by reviewing designs, schedules, and performance trends; suggest improvements.
• Develop project proposals by collecting data and presenting improvement recommendations to stakeholders.
• Lead CI activities across the site, including cost analyses and cross‑functional integration of improvements.
• Plan and conduct capability-building activities by training employees on CI strategies and tools.
• Lead problem-solving using root cause analysis and statistical techniques to reduce variation.
