Carrier is seeking an Engineer to support Sales Engineers with design, technical support, and tendering across the SEAP region. You will assist in equipment selection, specifications, schedules, and quotations using engineering judgment and market knowledge.

Minimum one year in related field, with knowledge of air conditioning preferred. Strong communication, independence, and initiative are essential for success in this role.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or professional degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent.
• Knowledge and direct experience in air conditioning preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field is required.
• Demonstrates initiative, determination and drive to implement programs and activities.
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication and listening skills; leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and use AutoCAD for design support.

Responsabilidades

• Provides application and system solution design and technical support to Sales Engineers.
• Supports engineering sales including equipment selection, specifications, schedules and quotations.
• Assists in tender and quotation preparation.
• Performs system comparisons and analyzes products and information.
• Submits activity reports to supervisor promptly and accurately.
• Complies with Carrier EH&S programs and Code of Ethics.
• Supports Commercial and Light Commercial coverage, mainly SEAP region.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provides application and system solution in design and technical supports to Sales Engineers
• Provides engineering sales supports including equipment selection, technical specifications, equipment’s schedule and quotation to Sale Engineer
• To support Sales Engineers in preparing tender and quotation preparation.
• Provides system comparison & analyze products & technical information
• To submit the activities reports to supervisor promptly and accurately.
• Enforce, perform, support and comply CMB EH&S Programs and Carrier Code of Ethics.
• To focus on Commercial and Light Commercial (primary) Scope coverage extended to commercial airside. Support coverage mainly SEAP region

Role Purpose:

• Support RLC teams in Singapore and Malaysia to free up Sales Engineers to have more face time with clients/potential clients
• Interface with factory capability to comply with clients’ equipment requirement

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.
• Knowledge and direct experience in air conditioning preferred
• Minimum 1 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Possess initiative, determination and drive to implement programs and activities.
• Customer Focus, Excellent communication and listening skills. Leadership and management skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge in Heat Load Estimation and AutoCAD program preferred
