Job summary

2C2P in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Developer who loves building high-availability systems and mentoring engineers. You will ship code that scales and treat AI as a co-pilot to solve complex production problems.

Work location is The Vertical Business Suite, Bangsar South, Malaysia. Office-based, Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. You will own designs to delivery, drive technical excellence, and collaborate with the business on challenging customer projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years backend / full-stack experience in production.
• Proficiency in Java and/or .NET.
• Hands-on with cloud (AWS or similar), Docker/Kubernetes, and serverless.
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI coding assistant in real projects (not just trial use).
• Solid fundamentals: clean code, testing, code review, Git workflow.
• Awareness of data security & responsible AI usage (no sensitive data in prompts, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery from design to deployment and meet commitments.

• Architect scalable, high-availability backend services and APIs.
• Set standards for CI/CD, security, testing, and reviews.

Working time: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, work at the office 100%

Responsibilities

• Own what you ship. Take full responsibility for your work — from design to delivery — and consistently hit the commitments you make to the team and stakeholders
• Use AI to multiply quality and speed. Leverage AI coding assistants and agentic workflows to write better code, catch issues earlier, accelerate reviews, and improve engineering efficiency across the team
• Architect for scale. Design and build high-availability, fault-tolerant backend services and APIs
• Drive technical excellence. Set standards for code quality, CI/CD, security (PCI DSS), testing, and code reviews — and make sure the team lives by them
• Lead incident response. Own root cause analysis for production issues and turn lessons learned into lasting improvements
• Push the stack forward. Research emerging tech, run POCs, and bring the best ideas back to the team
• Lift the team. Mentor mid- and junior-level developers through pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
• Partner with the business. Collaborate on complex customer projects to find the right technical solution

Requirements

• 3 years backend / full-stack experience in production environments is preferred
• Proficiency in Java and/or .NET
