Job summary

KMT Automotive sdn bhd is seeking a capable full stack developer to design and maintain internal systems across backend, database, and UI layers. You will integrate third-party platforms via APIs and build AI agents to automate department workflows.

You’ll gather user requirements and translate them into clear specs, manage the backlog, and ensure smooth deployment and security reviews. Candidates should have at least 2 years of production-grade experience, proficiency in English and Bahasa

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of full stack development experience, with systems that have been used in production.
• Backend development in at least one modern language and framework, for example Python, Node.js, PHP, Java or Go.
• Database design and SQL.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs, including third-party APIs.
• Version control with Git, and experience deploying to a cloud platform.
• Comfortable using AI tools and language models as part of everyday development work, and willing to learn how to build AI agents and assistants on the job.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities, and explain technical work in plain language, with working proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Experience automating business processes for non-technical users.

Docker, CI/CD, or similar deployment tooling.

Mobile-friendly or progressive web app development.

Reporting, dashboard or business intelligence experience.
