Randstad Malaysia is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build and deploy cutting-edge GenAI and RAG platforms in a high-growth FinTech/Gaming context. You will lead end-to-end LLM applications, semantic search, and Voice AI exploration from concept to production.

The role requires 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, strong Python expertise, and hands-on deployment of AI pipelines on cloud infra. It is an onsite position at Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, with a competitive 13-month salary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, ML, or production GenAI initiatives.
• Proven track record architecting, deploying, and optimizing LLM/RAG applications and production pipelines.
• Hands-on experience building review/approval workflows, production gating, distributed task persistence, and multi-worker recovery systems for AI platforms.

As an AI Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying sophisticated Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions that directly streamline operations and elevate customer experience. Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or production Generative AI initiatives.
• Proven track record of architecting, deploying, and optimizing LLM/RAG applications and production pipelines.
• Hands-on experience building review/approval workflows, production gating, distributed task persistence, and multi-worker recovery systems for AI platforms.

Key Skills Required

• Core Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in Python alongside frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
• ML Frameworks: Strong practical experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Cloud & DevOps: Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) paired with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• GenAI & NLP: Expertise in building RAG knowledge bases, semantic search (intent similarity detection), and prompt/intent generation from PRDs.
• Exploratory AI: Knowledge or research experience in Voice AI (Speech Recognition, Text-to-Speech, and conversational architecture).
• Languages: Mandarin fluency (written and spoken) is strongly preferred to seamlessly collaborate with regional teams and parse specific localization documentation.
