Job summary

ENGIE Malaysia is seeking an Engineer for Operation & Maintenance (O&M) to oversee Mechanical & Electrical systems at client sites in Kedah. You will ensure compliance with HSE standards, maintain service levels, and lead site teams in daily O&M activities, documentation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality for O&M activities at customer sites and related M&E systems, compliant with HSE and statutory requirements.
• Achieve O&M service levels and UPF performance, managing customer relationships and satisfaction.
• Lead site teams in daily O&M of M&E machinery and associated systems.
• Ensure timely and high-quality issuance of technical documentation and monthly reports.
• Study feasibility of projects to propose productivity and technical improvements in liaison with ENGIE services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring quality for the Operation &Maintenance (O&M) activities for all related Customer’s sites and associatedUtilities plant or Facilities (UPF)and their related Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) machinery equipment and associated systems in compliancewith the statutory authorities and applicable health-safety-environmental (HSE) requirements;
• Responsible to achieve the O&M service levels and the UPF performanceslevels and ultimately to ensure the customer satisfaction, manage customer relationship.
• Manage the site teams on day to day basis Operation & Maintenance of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) machinery equipment and associated systems of the customers’ Utilitiesplant or Facilities (UPF).
• Insure timely and quality for issuance – by all related sites - for Technical documentation and UPF monthly service reports.
• Study the feasibility of specific project in order to propose productivity, technicalimprovements for the UPF on customer’s sites – in liaison with ENGIE services –related to the O&M, HSEprocesses, contingencies & emergency plans as well as UPF performances.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• The engineer will be in charge of Operation & Maintenance, exposed to Mechanical & Electrical systems, instrumentation, Air conditioning-ventilation, chilledwater, thermal heater, compressed air production and distribution systems associated with supervision, control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems at diverse client/ site locations.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders
• Proven ability to learn new skills and adapt to dynamic and demanding situations
• Possesses good leadership skills to lead team members
• Fresh graduate encouraged to apply
