Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Kulim, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Staff Engineer in Process Development to drive transfer, development and qualification for Si, SiC and GaN technologies. You will lead equipment startup, develop innovative processes, and perform characterization and coordination with global teams to enable future technologies.

You will maintain a zero-defect mindset while delivering stable processes and supporting high-volume ramp-ups in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD degree in Engineering, Materials Science or Applied Science.
• Senior positions considered for candidates with working experience in relevant unit processes.
• Experience with SiC and GaN tools & processes, exposure systems, tracks & resist systems and lithography metrologies would be an added advantage.
• Strong methodical technique in technology synchronization, process development, process simulation and characterization.
• Knowledge of semiconductor unit processes, process integration, device physics and products is beneficial.
• High-volume ramp-up know-how and technology/product development experience.
• Ability to work under pressure with a zero-defect mindset and strong cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform new equipment startup with process characterization and development.
