Job summary

Etika is seeking a Bachelor’s degree student in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering for a hands-on maintenance support role in Selangor. The intern will update PM records, assist engineers with scheduled PM activities, and help monitor maintenance schedules while contributing to improvement projects.

The position emphasizes teamwork, learning, and exposure to installation, modification and commissioning activities, along with involvement in safety

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/ electrical/ mechatronics/ manufacturing/ industrial engineering.
• Basic knowledge of engineering and maintenance principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Update preventive maintenance (PM) records, maintenance reports, SOPs and manuals.
• Assist engineers and technicians with scheduled PM activities.
• Monitor PM completion and maintenance schedules.
• Support continuous improvement, root cause analysis, 5S and equipment reliability projects.
• Assist in spare parts inventory management and stock monitoring.
• Support machine installation, modification, commissioning and engineering projects.
• Assist with machine safety inspections, housekeeping, meeting minutes and action tracking.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Willing to learn and work as part of a team.
