Job summary

Ultratrex Machinery Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a junior mechanical design assistant to support the engineering and manufacturing teams in creating basic mechanical designs and technical drawings.

You will help update fabrication drawings and BOM under supervision, resolve design and production issues, and contribute to improving product design, performance and manufacturability, while maintaining QMS/EMS/OHSMS documentation.

Qualifications

• Assist in preparing basic mechanical designs and technical drawings.
• Assist in updating fabrication drawings and BOM under supervision.
• Assist in resolving design and production-related issues.
• Assist in improving product design, performance and manufacturability.
• Assist in reviewing existing designs for improvements.
• Support engineers in preparing technical information and documentation.
• Assist in maintaining documentation related to QMS, EMS and OHSMS.
• Perform other engineering duties as assigned.
