Job summary
Ultratrex Machinery Sdn Bhd, established in 2008, is a Malaysian engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the design and production of amphibious excavators, heavy machinery, and customized equipment solutions for the construction, mining, plantation, and environmental sectors.
We are seeking a detail-oriented logistics assistant to support daily shipping activities, source freight quotations, and prepare customs documentation in alignment with ISO procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily shipping and logistics activities related to import, export and local deliveries.
- Assist in sourcing freight and forwarding quotations and compiling information for comparison.
- Assist in preparing and organizing shipping and logistics documents for customs clearance and related applications.
- Assist in coordinating with the production and/or installation team to arrange delivery schedules.
- Assist in communicating with forwarding agents and relevant departments regarding shipping documentation and delivery arrangements.
- Assist in monitoring forwarding agent performance and maintaining related records.
- Assist in compiling and filing shipping documents in accordance with company ISO procedures.
- Assist in maintaining proper records and documentation related to QMS, EMS and OHSMS requirements.
- Perform other administrative and logistics-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
