Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia seeks a process development professional to scout, optimize and verify process parameters, progressing projects to meet timelines, quality, cost and manufacturability targets.

You will transfer knowledge to Operations, support prototype builds, and generate essential documents like Process Specifications, PFMEA/DFMEA, and PDR, while collaborating with suppliers for new tooling and equipment verification.

Your Role

Perform Process development activities (Process parameters scouting, optimization, verification and Process Freeze) in Development projects to meet the project targets in term of timeline, quality, cost competiveness and manufacturability.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Responsible for technical handshake and knowledge transfer to Operation.
• Support prototype and development samples build.
• Generate and update relevant documents, eg Process Specification, PFMEA, DFMEA, OJTI, T32 (P), PDR.
• Provide inputs for updating of related documents and is responsible for their correct contents, eg Process of Record, Assembly Design Rule, Process Roadmap, Failure catalogue, Control Plan, Maintenance checklist, etc for development projects.
• Liaise with suppliers for continuous improvement and perform verification and qualification activities for new tooling, machines and materials in Development projects.
• Participate focus team & 8D to support action item based on team strategy and approach. Participate taskforce when required.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant course with 3 years working experience in semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Adequate hands on knowledge and skills in assembly area.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good aptitude for collaboration, negotiation and solution finding.
• Analytical equipment knowledge.
• Statistical data analysis including design of experiment.
