Job summary

Infineon Technologies Malaysia is seeking a chem eng professional to identify and develop wet chemical processes for semiconductor packaging, focusing on deflashing, cleaning, stripping and plating development to meet quality and manufacturability goals.

You will generate process specifications, PFMEA and other wet process documents, collaborate with suppliers, and drive IP ideas based on research and hands-on experience in the assembly area.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop wet chemical processes (deflashing, plating) to ensure high quality and reproducibility.
• Support prototype and development samples build.
• Generate and update wet process documents (Process Specification, PFMEA, DFMEA, OJTI, T32, PDR).
• Provide inputs for updating wet process documents and ensure correct contents (Process of Record, Assembly Design Rule, Failure catalogue, Control Plan).
• Liaise with wet process suppliers for continuous improvement and verification/qualification of new tooling, machines and materials.
• Initiate, generate and drive IP ideas based on experience and research.

Identify and develop wet chemical processes (deflashing, plating) for semiconductor packages, putting process control to make sure high quality and reproducibility of the products.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Perform deflashing, cleaning, stripping and plating development activities (parameters optimization, verification and Process Freeze) to meet timeline, quality, cost and manufacturability.
• Support prototype and development samples build.
• Generate and update relevant wet process documents, eg: Process Specification, PFMEA, DFMEA, OJTI, T32, PDR.
• Provide inputs for updating of wet process documents and responsible for correct contents, eg Process of Record, Assembly Design Rule, Failure catalogue, Control Plan, etc for development projects.
• Liaise with wet process suppliers for continuous improvement and perform verification and qualification activities for new tooling, machines and materials in Development projects.
• Initiating, generating and drive IP ideas based on experience and research.
