Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility installations comply with local authorization requirements.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with Safety & Health teams to meet OSH standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs per ISO 9001/14001 and other standards.
• Conduct daily facility inspections and report irregularities.
• Prepare budgets and manage contractors for renovations and utilities.
• Coordinate project management and long-term facility upgrades.
• Prepare reports and allocate space efficiently.

This position is responsible to provide general: support services to other sections in the organization.

This position aims to serve directly or indirectly providing services that ensure no disruption of operations whilst maintaining a safe, clean, and conducive working environment. Scope of work includes planning and execution (but not limited to) of Facilities systems, general infrastructure.

Maintenance, upkeep and critical parameters monitoring. He/ she is expected to contribute towards upkeeping current SOPs whilst striving for process improvement where possible

• To ensure all facility installation comply with local authorization legal requirements.
• To work closely with Safety & Health team on daily maintenance work to comply with OSH, environmental standards and industry codes of practice.
• Develop and implement facility management programs and procedures for building and environmental equipment including preventive maintenance and life-cycle requirements according to ISO 9001, 14001 and other factory OSH, environmental and quality standards.
• Conduct daily facilities inspections and escalate to superior for any irregularities or non-conformities.
• Perform the functional requirement of DOSH, DOE, Bomba, ST Acts and related regulations e.g., for Schedule Waste, Wastewater Treatment Plant management and others.
• Provide regular update on Facilities Systems Maintenance Status to Management timely and regularly.
• To prepare reports as required by the management.
• Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency.
• Supervise maintenance, refurbishment and renovations of facilities and equipment.
• Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency.
• Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers.
• Manage contractors on site so that they comply to Environment, Health and Safety policy during implementation of, building renovation works and utilities hook up.
• Prepare budgets for building/ environment facility maintenance and upgrades.
• Develop long-term plans for facility upgrades.
• Ability to manage project, tasks on time with very little supervision.
• To perform part of the Team Leader function in his absence as deem fit by superior.
• Undertake any other projects, tasks and duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
