Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a facilities engineer to manage and maintain core utilities including HVAC, electrical, compressed air, and water systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support upgrades and project installations, and coordinate with contractors and vendors while driving energy efficiency, safety compliance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, facilities engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience in facilities engineering, building services or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of facility utilities, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with BMS, HVAC, electrical systems, or CMMS is an advantage.

Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions for facility equipment.

Support facility improvement, upgrading, installation, and engineering projects.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and project activities.

Monitor equipment performance, energy consumption, and facility reliability.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.

Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and energy-saving initiatives.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering, or related field.

Min 5 years of related working experiences

Experience in facilities engineering, building services, or a manufacturing environment.

Good knowledge of facility utilities, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Able to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
