Job summary

MYFutureJobs in Malaysia seeks a Production Engineering lead for PC Assembly. You will drive process improvements to boost quality, on-time delivery, and cost reductions while achieving line performance targets set by management.

You will mentor, coach, and ensure workers are competent, implement Work Instructions and IMS-based standards, and act as an internal coach for your department to sustain continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in production engineering for PCB assembly lines.
• Ability to drive process improvement to meet quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Able to mentor workers and coach department teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvement programs to enhance quality, delivery and cost.
• Achieve line performance targets as per management standards.
• Activate and drive performance activities on the production line.
• Set goals for subordinates and guide them to achieve.
• Ensure implementation of Work Instructions and quality systems.
• Ensure IMS and related activities are continuously followed.
• Mentor and coach workers to ensure competence.
• Act as internal coach for the department.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.

Job description

• As a person in charge of Production Engineering at PC Assembly.
• Conducting process improvement programs/project to improve Quality, Delivery and cost reduction.
• To achieve line performance target for the above against the standard agreed as set by management.
• Activate and drive performance activities in respect of the related production line.
• Set goals on any tasks assigned to your subordinate and provide guidance to them on how to achieve these goals.
• By ensuring the implementation of Work Instruction on the line and to the required quality systems and standard.
• By ensuring the implementation of IMS and other related activities are done continuously in their respective sections.
• By mentoring, coaching, and making sure all their respective workers are competent in their job functions.
• By acting as internal coach for their respective department.
• Implementing and implement process improvement opportunities and cost saving initiatives.
