Job summary

Iotronix in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Production Process Engineer to optimize PCBA/SMT manufacturing lines. You will design layouts, improve workflows, and collaborate with quality and engineering teams to drive lean improvements.

This role focuses on reducing lead times, increasing yield, and ensuring compliant operations while launching new lines and scaling production to meet demand.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing settings, preferably PCB assembly.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and value stream mapping.
• Ability to analyze production data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for PCBA/SMT lines, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Design and implement efficient production layouts and workflows to maximize productivity and reduce waste.
• Analyze and improve line balancing, production cycles, and material flow to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform lead time analysis, motion studies and capacity planning to identify areas for improvement and maximize equipment utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality, to drive continuous process improvements.
• Monitor and analyze production data, providing insights to improve throughput, yield, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Support the setup and launch of production lines in the facility, working closely with the equipment and production teams.
