Job summary

Tanah Cahaya Sdn Bhd is seeking a site operations professional to monitor civil works including earthworks, drainage, and road construction. The role collaborates with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant project execution and quality control.

You will track progress, budgets, and resources, assist in contract administration, identify risks, and support commissioning and handover in alignment with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Monitor daily site operations including earthworks, excavation, road construction, drainage systems, foundations, and other civil works.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and regulations through regular site inspections.
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify construction works meet standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Track project progress, budgets and resources utilization, and prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
• Assist in contract administration, including evaluating contractor performance and reviewing progress claims.
• Identify construction risks and propose practical engineering solutions to minimize delays.
• Support project commissioning and handover by ensuring works are completed and handed over per project specs.

Monitor daily site operations including earthworks, excavation, road construction, drainage systems, foundations, and other civil works associated with construction and mining operation.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of technical issues.

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, construction and mining regulations and statutory requirements through regular site inspections and safety monitoring.

Conduct quality control inspections to verify that construction works meet engineering standards, contract specifications, and company quality requirements.

Track project progress, budgets and resources utilization, and prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for management.

Assist in contract administration, including evaluating contractor performance, reviewing progress claims, variation orders, and work completion certificates.

Identify construction risks and technical challenges, propose practical engineering solutions, and implement corrective or preventive actions to minimize project delays.

Support project commissioning and handover by ensuring all construction works are completed, tested, documented, and handed over in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
