Job summary

KJ Technical Services SDN BHD is seeking a hands‑on HVAC operations leader to head daily site operations and supervise the service team. You will be the main contact between the client and site team, ensuring 24/7 support and adherence to SLAs.

The role requires 3–5 years in HVAC/chiller operations or service engineering, reading engineering drawings, and strong problem‑solving skills. Based in Kuala Lumpur or Johor with shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, chiller plant operations, or service engineering.
• Hands‑on experience in HVAC systems, chillers, CDU, or VRF systems.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS); knowledge of PLC controls is an added advantage.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building regulations, and HVAC industry practices.
• Willing to work on a 24/7 shift rotation, including weekends, public holidays, and emergency call‑outs.

Hands‑on experience in HVAC systems, chillers, coolant distribution units (CDUs), or VRF systems

Good knowledge of refrigeration principles, system troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning

Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS); knowledge of PLC controls is an added advantage

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

Knowledge of safety standards, building regulations, and HVAC industry practices

Willing to work on a 24/7 shift rotation, including weekends, public holidays, and emergency call‑outs

Strong analytical, communication, report writing, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional language proficiency would be an advantage.

Open to working in either Kuala Lumpur or Johor.
