Job summary

Munchy Food Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an Energy Manager to monitor and optimise energy use across electricity, gas, water and steam. You will implement EnMS, drive energy-saving projects and prepare performance reports to track savings.

You will collaborate with engineers, production and maintenance teams to enhance equipment efficiency, support regulatory audits, and promote energy awareness among staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or related field.
• 2–5 years in energy management and industrial utilities.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse energy consumption across electricity, gas, water and steam.
• Implement and ensure EnMS compliance.
• Identify and execute energy-saving initiatives and projects.
• Prepare energy performance reports and track savings.
• Assist in energy audits and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Electrical Consultant MM2020, production and maintenance teams to improve equipment efficiency.
• Promote energy awareness and best practices among employees.
• Coordinate with Suruhanjaya Tenaga on regulatory matters and filings.
• Maintain documentation and records related to energy compliance and licensing.
