Job summary

Hong Leong Assurance Berhad is seeking a senior professional to lead Employee Benefits sales and drive growth through agency channels. You will build robust relationships with agencies and corporate customers, develop sales strategies, and expand the benefits portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in relevant fields.
• At least 8 years' experience in a similar industry or customer service related industry.
• Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and high performing teams.
• Strategic and organizational agility, excellent execution track record, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork and influencing skills.
• Master in Microsoft office tools
• Good communication & presentations skills, pleasant personality and achievement oriented

Responsibilities

• Drive Employee Benefits business growth and achieve assigned sales, premium, and profitability targets.
• Partner closely with agency leaders and agents to identify business opportunities and expand the corporate customer portfolio. Develop and execute sales strategies and business plans to increase Employee Benefits production through agency channels.
• Identify market segments and niches where the company position can be strengthened. Proposed action plans to ensure opportunities are followed through.
• Develop promotional activities aimed at identified market segments to increase sales volumes and potential contributors. Ensure all promotional activities are within operational budget, and strengthen HLA’s product and brand.
• Ensure thorough evaluation of customer requirements, trend records and risk profile to prepare quotation for clients and timely follow up with clients to ensure closure of business deals.
• Prepare and deliver client pitches, benefit presentation and proposal development.
• Handle enquiries from intermediary/client and provide feedback on a timely manner.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with internal and external regulations, policies and guidelines.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by manager.
