Job summary

HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad is seeking a Primary Banker 1 to join the International Wealth and Premier Banking team. You will be the branch ambassador, identify customer needs at first contact, promote digital channels, and drive revenue with cards, loans and other retail products.

Candidates should have at least an SPM with 5 credits or relevant retail/banking experience, fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin/Cantonese a plus), and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
• Experience in retail, banking or financial services is preferred.
• Ability to operate tablets and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Branch Ambassador to deliver a strong customer experience.
• Promote digital channels and Life Sign Technology to NTB/ETB customers.
• Generate revenue through cards, personal loans and other retail products.
• Drive referrals for Advance and Premier segments.
• Update customer information accurately in the Bank's system.
• Ensure compliance, Audit, SOX and regulatory requirements.
