Job summary

HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking ambitious individuals to join our International Wealth and Premier Banking team as Primary Banker 1, helping clients with day-to-day banking needs and wealth management opportunities.

You will work with colleagues to define and achieve business targets, promote digital channels to NTB and ETB clients, and generate revenue through cards, personal loans and other retail products while upholding compliance and quality service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification with 5 credits.
• At least 1 year working experience in retail, banking or financial industry preferred.
• Fluent in spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin / Cantonese is an added advantage.
• Strong customer handling and problem solving skills.
• Ability to navigate and use tablet and other digital tools.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Branch Ambassador to deliver exceptional customer experience through identifying and fulfilling customer needs at first point of contact.
• Promote digital channel and Life Sign Technology to NTB or ETB customers.
• Generate revenue growth by meeting customer needs for cards, personal loan, balance build and other retail products.
• Drive referrals for both Advance and Premier customer segments.
• Utilise customer base to look for opportunities and drive sales.
• Update customer’s information accurately in the Bank’s system.
• Ensure Compliance, Audit, SOX and other regulatory requirements are met.

6. Update customer’s information accurately in the Bank’s system
7. Ensure Compliance, Audit, SOX and other regulatory requirements are met
