Job summary

Calibre Events Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a friendly Sales Promoter to engage customers on the shop floor, demonstrate consumer electronics, and provide expert product recommendations. You will work closely with the team to meet sales targets, maintain attractive displays, and process transactions accurately using POS systems, while staying informed about new product releases and promotions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer-facing retail roles in consumer electronics or retail.
• Strong sales skills with ability to meet or exceed targets.
• Excellent product knowledge or ability to quickly learn product specifications.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for engaging customers.
• Friendly, approachable demeanour with passion for customer service.
• Able to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle displays.
• Willingness to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic numeracy and familiarity with POS systems.
• Fluency in Malay and English; additional languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote and demonstrate consumer electronic products to customers on the shop floor
• Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their queries and concerns promptly
• Maintain an attractive and well-organised product display area
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Conduct product training sessions to educate customers about features, benefits and usage
• Collaborate with team members and management to ensure a seamless shopping experience
• Keep up-to-date with the latest product releases, promotions and pricing information
• Report daily sales performance and provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends
