Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia is seeking a New Grad to join the Tetra HW Engineering team. You will contribute to design and development of sophisticated communication products, focusing on RF/Controller design, simulation, troubleshooting, optimization and validation.

You will construct prototypes, test circuits with bench equipment, and ensure compliance to reliability and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical or related field.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills and inter team coordination skills.
• Able to communicate and present conceptual ideas to technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and multi-tasking.
• Knowledge in ADS simulation tools and PCB layout is an added advantage.
• Excellent team spirit with good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well with cross-functional teams.

Job Description

Handle design and development of highly sophisticated communication products. Handle RF/Controller design, simulation, troubleshooting, optimization, validation and test activities associated with product development. Construction of prototypes or proof of concepts for purposes of testing circuit designs as needed, using workbench tools and test equipment. Ensure product compliance to reliability and regulatory standards.

Basic Requirements

• At least a Bachelor degree majoring in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or related area.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills and inter team coordination skills.
• Able to communicate & present conceptual ideas to technical audiences.
• Good in analytical and problem solving skills Able to work independently with minimum supervision, able to multi-task, analytical, self motivated and a good team player.
• Knowledge in ADS simulation tools and PCB layout is an added advantage.
