Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Malaysia seeks a New Grad Engineer in Tetra HW Engineering to design and develop advanced communications products, focusing on RF transmitter design and related digital control aspects.

You will build prototypes, run ADS simulations, troubleshoot, optimize, validate and test circuits, and ensure compliance with reliability and regulatory standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Handle design and development of sophisticated communication products.

• Handle transmitter design, simulation, troubleshooting, optimization, validation and test activities associated with product development.

• Drive end-to-end RF development and develop coexistence mitigation strategies.

• Construction of prototypes or proof of concepts for purposes of testing circuit designs as needed, using workbench tools and test equipment.

• Ensure product compliance to reliability and regulatory standards.

Basic Requirements

• At least a Bachelor degree majoring in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or related area.

• Familiar and interest in RF/digital controller/audio related fields depending on the area of work the candidate is applying

• Good analytical and problem solving skills and inter team coordination skills.

• Able to communicate & present conceptual ideas to technical audiences. Good in analytical and problem solving skills

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision, able to multi-task, analytical, self motivated and a good team player.

• Knowledge in ADS simulation tools and PCB layout is an added advantage.

• Excellent team spirit with good communications and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work well with cross-functional teams.

• Must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.
