Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a fresh graduate Electrical/Electronics Engineer to join our hardware engineering team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will collaborate with regional teams to troubleshoot escalations, analyze designs, and drive prototype bring-up through regulatory and reliability processes.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, problem solving, and the ability to coordinate across design centers while working independently to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of schematics.
• Good problem solving and inter-team coordination.
• Customer focused and result oriented.
• Ability to work and communicate well across different design centers/ regional teams.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, multi-tasking, analytical, self-motivated and a good team player.
• Strong inter-personal skills.
• Willing to be based in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional teams to resolve customer escalations, supplier issues, and manufacturing bottlenecks.
• Perform deep technical analysis, deliver time-critical solutions, and ensure full resolution of hardware anomalies.
• Analyze radio designs using lab equipment (analyzers, oscilloscopes) and run performance simulations or experiments.
• Lead prototype bring-up, functional debugging, and support manufacturing through regulatory and reliability certifications.
