Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia, Penang, is seeking a fresh Electrical/Electronics Engineer to join our hardware team. You will design and develop highly-sophisticated communication products for professional and mission-critical markets, starting from concept to prototype.

Training will be provided; you will work with RF, digital controller, power and audio sub-circuits, using ADS/CST for RF simulations and Mentor Graphics/Cadence tools for SI studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineering or related discipline.
• Must have basic knowledge in RF/digital controller/audio fields related to the role.
• Experience with RF/digital measuring equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters).
• Simulation experience in ADS/PSPI.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of highly-sophisticated communication products for professional and mission-critical markets.
• Utilize Modeling & Simulation Software to create and evaluate designs, including RF simulation and digital SI studies.

Join us on our mission to shoot for the stars!## Job Description* Responsible for the design & development of highly-sophisticated communication products for professional and mission critical markets in the commercial, government and industrial segments.* Utilize Modeling & Simulation Software to create and evaluate designs, including RF simulation in ADS/CST and Digital Signal Integrity simulation in Mentor Graphics and Cadence SI tool, prior to releasing the PCB layout Gerber for fabrication.* Work with a team of highly-qualified engineers to generate innovative ideas and design communication systems which include infrastructure, subscribers and accessories that meet customer requirements. Engineers will be working on sub-circuits that consist of RF, digital controller, power and audio circuits.* RF sub-circuits involve receivers, transmitters, VCOs, amplifiers, filters and mixers circuit; while digital and controller sub-circuits include microcontroller, logics and LCD circuits. As for power, audio and signaling circuits, it consists of batteries, voltage regulators, audio amplifiers, filters, speakers and microphones.* Training will be provided where necessary.## Basic Requirements* At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineering, or related disciplines.
