JESS Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on and experienced Senior Engineer / Technician to join our operation team in Penang. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in repair, testing, or servicing industrial electronic equipment such as inverters, servo drives, power supplies, PLCs, or HMIs.

You'll diagnose, repair, and ensure quality performance of industrial automation products used in factories across Southeast Asia, with on-site support and occasional outstation

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Industrial Automation engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge in circuit analysis, power electronics and control systems.
• Able to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiar with instruments such as oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator.

Responsabilités

• Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair of industrial electronic boards and systems (e.g. inverter, servo, PCB, PLC, HMI).
• Conduct testing, calibration, and quality verification according to company procedures.
• Analyze failure modes and propose root cause and preventive action solutions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Provide on-site support and installation — including outstation visits across Malaysia.
• Be part of standby and OT rotation, including weekend or after-hours support.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communication, ensuring issues are clearly explained and resolved.

We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Senior Engineer / Technician to join our growing operation team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the repair, testing, or servicing of industrial electronic equipment such as inverters, servo drives, power supplies, PLCs, or HMIs.

This position is part of Jess Technology’s core operations team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and ensuring the quality performance of industrial automation products used in factories across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair of industrial electronic boards and systems (e.g. inverter, servo, PCB, PLC, HMI).
• Conduct testing, calibration, and quality verification according to company procedures.
• Analyze failure modes and propose root cause and preventive action solutions.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized working environments.
• Provide on-site support and installation when required — including outstation visits across Malaysia.
• Be part of standby and OT rotation, including weekend or after-hours support to handle urgent customer requests.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communication, ensuring issues are clearly explained and resolved professionally

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Industrial Automation Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge in circuit analysis, power electronics, and control systems.
• Able to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiar with instruments such as oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator etc.
• Analytical, self-driven, and capable of independent problem-solving.
• Willing to learn new systems and technologies
