Job summary

Sarawak Oil Palms is seeking a capable Electrician to perform wiring, installation and maintenance of building electrical systems. You will troubleshoot faults, conduct inspections, and ensure safety and efficiency of electrical equipment onsite.

The role requires a valid Grade 2 Wireman Certificate and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with willingness to travel and work on-site in Kuala Lumpur area.

Qualifications

• Valid Wireman Competency Certificate (Grade 2) issued by the Energy Commission of Malaysia.
• 1–3 years of relevant electrical experience.
• Knowledge of single-phase 240V and three-phase 415V systems for buildings.
• Basic knowledge of electrical safety requirements and safe working practices.
• Willing to travel and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical wiring, installation, maintenance and repair for building electrical systems.
• Carry out routine and preventive electrical maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, identify issues and perform repairs.
• Install, maintain and repair single-phase and three-phase wiring systems.
• Conduct electrical testing, inspection and basic fault diagnosis.
• Assist in general building maintenance when required.
