Job summary

AME Elite Consortium Berhad 腾宇集团 is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to oversee electrical installations and firefighting systems in the workshop. You will plan preventive maintenance for machinery, troubleshoot electrical issues, and ensure compliance with local safety regulations.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, with ST certificates considered an advantage. You will mentor semi-skilled workers and ensure efficient parts storage and tool maintenance on

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee maintenance and corrective works for electrical installations and firefighting systems in the workshop facility.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance of workshop machinery, tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor electrical cabling, equipment wiring and electrical components.
• Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia regulations and safety standards.
• Diagnose root causes and resolve equipment maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with relevant parties on breakdowns, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Update equipment checklists for production tools and machinery.
• Monitor substation power factor, voltage, current and general maintenance.
• Schedule inspections of main and sub switch boards, tools and earthing system.
• Service and maintain machinery and equipment delivered to site.
• Provide technical knowledge to train semi-skilled maintenance workers.
• Ensure proper storage and FIFO handling of parts and consumables.

Job description

Job Responsibility

• Responsible for leading and overseeing maintenance and corrective works for all electrical installations and firefighting system within the workshop facility,
• To plan and execute preventive maintenance of all workshop Machinery, tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot and rectify on minor electrical cabling, equipment wiring, electrical components and generators.
• Ensure all the workshop facility and systems meet the Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia statutory regulations and safety standards.
• Diagnose the root cause and resolving equipment maintenance issues.
• Responsible for coordinating and communicate to relevant parties on breakdowns, repairing jobs and preventive maintenance.
• To update equipment checklist for all production tools, equipment and machinery accordingly.
• To monitor the substation power factor, voltage, current and general maintenance of the substation.
• To conduct schedule inspection for main switch board, sub switch board, tools/ equipment, and earthing system.
• Execution of servicing and maintenance of the machinery and equipment that are delivered to site.
• To assist in providing technical knowledge to train and guide the semi-skilled maintenance worker.
• Ensure all toots, equipment, consumable items and spare parts are properly stored, cleaned and handled based on First-in-First-out basis
• Maintain and take care of workshop area landscaping and gardening
• To perform others duties assigned by Management

Job Requirements

• Able to communicate clearly, understand instructions, and motivate team members to perform their work effectively.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Minimum qualification: SPM or equivalent.
• Possession of a Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) A0 or A4 or PW4 Certificate will be an added advantage.
