Job summary

LKH Electric (M) Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking a Production Wiring Operator to perform wiring for tap off units and distribution boards, ensuring tasks are done on time and to spec. The role involves planned preventive testing and on-site engagement to support manufacturing operations.

You will interpret electrical schematics, maintain tools, and contribute to continuous improvements in the wiring process.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience wiring electrical distribution boards.
• Understanding of electrical schematics and general arrangement drawings.
• Knowledge of production wiring processes and quality standards.
• Experience with simple testing tools (multimeter) and troubleshooting.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Malay for onsite communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring of tap off units, distribution boards, and equipment.
• Carry out preventive tests to ensure wiring reliability and timeliness.
• Inspect and service production tools and fixtures.
• Design and fabricate jigs/fixtures to support operations.
• Monitor wiring progress and report on project status.
• Coordinate with production for quality adherence and storage of inbound materials.
• Support on-site requirements and assist in troubleshooting.

The incumbent ensure the process and the operation of the production wiring flow are performed at the desired optimum level at all times. It involves planning of the production wiring process, placement of the production tools and the execution of the schematic wiring within the given timeline, as well as to be involved in basic engineering testing and site engagement.

Job Description

Perform production wiring effectively for all tap off units / Distribution boards or equipment in the company

Perform planned preventive testing measures to ensure all tap off units or electrical board and equipment are wired on time and its reliability are achieved at the optimum level

Carry out routine inspection and servicing of the company’s production tools and testing equipment are functioning according to specifications and requirements Design and fabricate jigs and fixture to support daily operations

Identify areas for improvement in the current wiring process

Monitor & Report on wiring progress on a project basis

Ensure all wiring work is completed in accordance with the Quality Control Plan Monitor and manage the storage all production inbound materials

Maintain close liaison with production lead to meet product quality requirement Develop and implement a production wiring improvement plan

Support on-site requirement and perform simple testing

Provide comprehensive support for configuring smart metering system and assist in troubleshooting site-related issue

Job Requirements:

At least 2 years' experience in related industry

Understanding electrical schematic and general arrangement drawing

Performed electrical wiring for distribution boards (DB boards)

Possess good knowledge and concept in process flow and components storage Technical knowledge in using simple test kit (multi-meter)

Good communication skills, fluent in both spoken English, Mandarin & Malay
