Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Electrical) for a brownfield development in Port Klang, Malaysia. The role spans electrical design review, construction support, and commissioning readiness, working across design coordination and contractor interfaces to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in electrical engineering in industrial environments, knowledge of substations, switchgear, and international codes, plus strong HSSE

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering design, construction, maintenance, or project execution.
Experience in industrial environments such as manufacturing, oil & gas, lubricants or chemicals.
Experience supporting brownfield project planning and execution.
Experience in construction support, testing, commissioning readiness, and contractor supervision.

Responsibilities

Support brownfield development across electrical design, construction, and commissioning readiness.
Coordinate across design review, contractor interfaces, and project controls to deliver safe, compliant outcomes.
Lead HSSE initiatives and ensure governance reporting, risk and change control throughout project execution.
