Responsibilities

• Develop complete PLC control solutions and software based on customer specifications and the company's standardized practices.
• Design and develop PLC control programs and HMI software.
• Prepare electrical schematics and control panel drawings for PLC control systems.
• Liaise with customers, design engineers, and project engineers to ensure successful software development and project execution.
• Coordinate control system projects, including system design, software development, programming, site testing, and commissioning.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of PLC and HMI programs during installation and commissioning.
• Provide technical support during FAT, SAT, and after-sales service when required.
• Ensure all software and electrical designs comply with project specifications, safety standards, and company quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including software backups, operating manuals, and commissioning reports.
• Continuously improve control system performance and contribute to the standardization of software development practices.

About The Role

R-TECH GLOBAL (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking an Electrical & Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Bukit Jelutong, Selangor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, development, and implementation of innovative electrical and software solutions that drive our company forward. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between hardware and software systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop complete PLC control solutions and software based on customer specifications and the company's standardized practices.

Design and develop PLC control programs and HMI software.

Prepare electrical schematics and control panel drawings for PLC control systems.

Liaise with customers, design engineers, and project engineers to ensure successful software development and project execution.

Coordinate control system projects, including system design, software development, programming, site testing, and commissioning.

Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of PLC and HMI programs during installation and commissioning.

Provide technical support during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and after-sales service when required.

Ensure all software and electrical designs comply with project specifications, safety standards, and company quality requirements.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including software backups, operating manuals, and commissioning reports.

Continuously improve control system performance and contribute to the standardization of software development practices.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
