Job summary

EGP SMART ENERGY PTE. LTD is seeking a Procurement Engineer/Executive (Electrical Projects) to source electrical equipment and materials for power, distribution and related projects in Malaysia.

You will work with project, engineering and tender teams to perform RFQs, commercial evaluation and delivery coordination. The role requires a diploma or degree in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering, or procurement, with 3–7 years’ relevant experience and ability to read technical drawings

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Procurement or related discipline.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, sourcing or procurement preferred.
• Experience interpreting technical specs, drawings and BOQ for procurement.

Responsibilities

• Source electrical equipment and materials for power, distribution and related projects.
• Manage RFQs, quotations, commercial evaluation and negotiation.
• Coordinate purchase orders and delivery for Malaysia-based projects.
• Develop suppliers and service providers for Malaysia operations.
• Collaborate with project, engineering and tender teams to support cost control and project delivery.
